Senior Clinical Director (SUD)

Leadership Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Clinical Director to lead and enhance clinical operations across our Behavioral Health programs. This senior leadership role is responsible for providing strategic direction, clinical oversight, and operational excellence to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care for individuals with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, supervision, and mentorship to Clinical Directors and senior clinical staff
- Design, implement, and enhance innovative clinical programs and services
- Ensure compliance with DOH, DMHAS, CARF, JCAHO standards
- Oversee individualized treatment planning and evidence-based service delivery
- Lead data analysis and reporting on clinical outcomes
- Support budget development and financial oversight for clinical programs
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Active NJ licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist, LCADC, APN, or Physician)
- Minimum 8 years clinical experience, including 5+ years in leadership
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations and accreditation standards

Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC)
📍 Newark, NJ | Full-Time | On-Site

We are seeking a highly motivated, clinically skilled, and compliance-focused CADC to provide direct substance use disorder treatment services within our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The CADC is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based clinical services while ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, payer, and agency requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an active caseload of clients receiving IOP and/or OP services
- Conduct comprehensive substance use disorder assessments and evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on ASAM Criteria
- Facilitate therapeutic, psychoeducational, and relapse prevention groups
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when clinically indicated
- Collaborate with medical providers, case managers, and referral sources
Requirements
- Current NJ CADC credential in good standing
- Minimum Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s preferred
- Experience in IOP or OP treatment settings
- Knowledge of ASAM Criteria, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
